MEET THE SAVANTS:

---

ALEC AUSTIN is a senior at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where he's writing his thesis on the mathematical analysis of the children's game Dots and Boxes. He is presently sacrificing his health, his sanity, and his social life to finish a draft of his first novel (300+ pages and 36 chapters written since Dec 15!), which should be done by the end of January. Alec has worked as a nuclear reactor operator, run a comic library, and is a graduate of the Clarion West science fiction writer's workshop.

DAVE POTTER realized this week he hasn't taken a vacation in almost two and half years. Its no wonder he feels burned out as his job, let alone his life. You should send him suggestions and travel agent recommendations immediately to preserve his sanity.

PAUL T. RIDDELL is planning to start a new religion according to
edicts first presented by Evan Dorkin: "Like other cults, we will have lots of weapons. Unlike other cults, you don't get any." Take a stroll around the Branch Riddellian compound at "The Healing Power of Obnoxiousness" at http://www.hpoo.com.

JOE NOZEMACK is the publisher of Oni Press. Drop him a line at joeoni@onipress.com

GUS DAHLBERG was terrorized by the Insane Clown Posse kids this weekend. Tell him about your own Juggalo problems at gdahlberg@columbus.rr.com.

PATRICK KELLER is really, really sorry for his repeated use of the words "hand love" but he really does like Ed. Just not like that. Admonish him at blansten@yahoo.com

MATT FRACTION feels lighter.
